Fort Esperanza Image:

Shows the position of the fort on Matagorda Bay, the camping positions of the Third Brigade, Fourth Division, Thirteenth Army Corps; Fifteenth Maine, Thirteenth Maine, and Thirty-fourth Iowa. Notes are given on positions during the engagement and the dimensions of the fort walls and defenses. There are drawings of ships in the harbor. Photostat. 3/16/82
