Covers Texas and part of New Mexico, Oklahoma, and the Indian Territory. Shows rivers, creeks, mountainous areas, counties, cities, towns, railroads, contour lines, and Indian nations within the Indian Territory. The contour interval is 250 feet.
This map appears as sheet XI in the Topographic Atlas of the United States, Physical Geography of Texas Region, by Robert Hill (U.S. Geological Survey, Department of the Interior, Washington, D.C., 1900). Two copies of this atlas are in the map collection, see maps 1753 and 7054. An earlier copy of the map is map 7668. Another copy of this map is map 7054a.
