Shows rivers, creeks, mountainous areas, towns and settlements, routes and trails--including the Old San Antonio Road, colonies granted to Stephen F. Austin and Green DeWitt, missions, silver mines, soundings in the bays and along the coast, and Indian tribes and villages. There is a handwritten note about the history of Stephen F. Austin's colony, including the population for it and other settlements of that time. There are numerous handwritten notes throughout the map regarding topography, the location of wild life and ore, and military battles. Photostat. Copied from the holdings of the Barker Texas History Center, University of Texas, Austin, Texas. 1/11/82
