Description:
Atlas. Covering Texas and parts of New Mexico, Oklahoma, and the Indian Territory. It contains descriptive text concerning the physical geography of the area, illustrations of features, maps showing climatic conditions, geologic formations, mineral resources, flora, and rural population distribution. Also present are photomechanical reproductions of rivers, canyons and other natural features, and specialized topographic maps, showing types of mountains, plains and scarps, and rivers and canyons. The Texas map attached to this atlas has been removed, see map 7054a. Another copy of this map is catalogued separately in the map collection, see map 1006. Another copy of this atlas is map 1753.
