Our Employees of the Quarter for the Third Quarter of Fiscal Year 2013
Bobby French - supports the State and Local Records Management Division as a records center specialist. Cited for his excellent communication skills and ideas, and for being a generous team player, Bobby has been named Employee of the Quarter for the Third Quarter of FY2013.
At the State Records Center, Bobby approves storage requests, assigns storage approval numbers, maintains storage databases, occasionally fills in at the front desk, and assists staff whenever possible.
“I have known and worked with Bobby for 10 years now, and I cannot imagine how I would have accomplished the things I have without his assistance, perseverance, or dedication,” wrote one colleague in Bobby’s nomination letter. “When the State Records Center adopted a new system for storage, and I suddenly had reams of data entry to do, it was Bobby who took pages from my stack when he had a spare moment.”
“Bobby is a team player who has presented excellent ideas to improve the processes of the State Records Center,” wrote another colleague. “There are obvious improvements he’s implemented, like his work on the E-101 web form, making sending records to the Center a much more simple, user friendly process for our customers. He is an excellent communicator with superior writing skills. He brings a very high IQ to his work and analyzes complicated materials on a daily basis, finding details that most employees would pass over.”
TSLAC sincerely thanks Bobby for his energetic service and proudly congratulates him for being named Employee of the Quarter for the Third Quarter of FY2013.

Margie is diligent and dedicated, and she approaches problem-solving in an objective and thorough manner.”
“In the past month, Margie has demonstrated her strength as a team member by taking on many projects,” wrote another colleague. “She has been welcoming and instructive, providing experienced recommendations for my own projects. Margie responds quickly to daily challenges and is able to successfully alternate between long and short-term responsibilities. I’m grateful to work with such an exemplary team member.”
