Telegram to Eleanor Brackenridge, November 9, 1911

Austin suffragist Erminia Thompson Folsom (daughter of Mariana Folsom) sent this telegram to Eleanor Brackenridge just three months before Brackenridge founded the Equal Franchise Society in San Antonio. At the time, Austin had the only women's suffrage club in the state. The Texas Mother's Congress later became the Texas Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
