#12 Reflection and Evaluation

2009 August 12
by naomi

You did it! Wow – congratulations!! You’ve reached the 12th two-stepping method. Although this was a much shorter version of many of the 23 Things / Learning 2.0 programs out there, you still covered a lot of ground in this program! Be sure to give yourself a pat on the back (aka “POB”) for completing the program.

  1. In order to help us improve upon possible future offerings of this program, we ask that you please fill out the evaluation form for TSLAC’s A Dozen Ways to Two-Step Program.
  2. In your final blog entry for this program, please reflect on your learning journey and post a few thoughts. (Please don’t forget to include “Method 12” in the title of your blog post.) Here are some questions to prompt you if you’re drawing a blank for your post …
    • What were your favorite discoveries or exercises on this learning journey?
    • How has this program assisted or affected your lifelong learning goals?
    • Were there any take-aways or unexpected outcomes from this program that surprised you?
    • What could we do differently to improve upon this program’s format or concept? And last but not least…
    • If we offered another discovery program like this in the future, would you again chose to participate?
  3. Next and VERY IMPORTANT, please email us with “A Dozen Ways Completion” in the subject line and your name AND blog URL in the body of the email. We will verify completion of the program, update our records, and then email you an electronic completion certificate for this program within 7-10 business days.
  4. And finally, thank you so much for participating in this life-long learning adventure.  We hope this is the beginning (or continuation) of a beautiful friendship between you and Web 2.0 technologies! Please note that if you’d like to continue your learning adventure, we now have a sequel program available through August 31, 2012: Beyond Two-Steppin’. It covers another set of exciting Web technologies and we encourage you to take a look at it, even if you don’t think you have time to complete it!

Thank you again and best wishes,

The Library Development Division of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission

    Please, offer another 12 Things!

TSL has great programs and I’m always looking for ways to update my skills. The ability to gain Certificate of Completions is a bonus.

This was such fun and of course, quite informative. Thank you for the opportunity to learn Web 2.0, and if you develop another online professional development discovery—count me in!

This was a very different and enjoyable way to take training. I wish that I had not forgotten my password to my blog… however, enjoyed reading others’ comments.

Very helpful. I especially liked the bite sized lessons and I really did like the Plain English video introductions. I will probably refer to those more often – even used delicious to book mark the site.

Thanks so much for providing this opportunity, and for extending the deadline! I really enjoyed it, and hope to implement some of the things we learned at our library soon. Very practical and useful–I would love to get everyone on my staff to take the course!

Thank you for providing this opportunity for the librarians in the state of Texas. I learned so many new things that will add knowledge as a librarian, as well as, it provided me an opportunity to brag about my learning to my techno geek friends. They were very envious about what I was learning!!! I was so glad that you extended the deadline and even though I am finishing on the next to last day, the new deadline worked for me. Please offer more classes like this for librarians, especially, a website design class.

Thank you for this big help and now I feel more confident. I especially enjoyed the short videos and the information on Wike and Podcasts.
