What is New and A Review of the 2020 Texas Public Libraries Annual Report

Texas public library directors must submit the Texas Public Libraries Annual Report in order to be considered for accreditation as well as other agency programs. Library Data Coordinator Valicia Greenwood provides an overview of the 2020 report, answering questions about accreditation, financial reporting, collection and program statistics sections. This year’s report includes a special section related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Time permitting, there will be a tour of Texas LibPAS, the data collection portal.  Excellent webinar for those new to the report, or for anyone wanting an update.

Attendance at the LIVE program qualifies for 1 hour of Texas State Library Continuing Education credit. Printed certificates will not be issued. A follow-up email will be sent within 5 days of the event to individuals who attended the live Webinar. Attendees are advised to save and/or print the follow-up email as it will serve as proof of attendance for CE purposes.
