Spurred by a great idea from Misti Rudloff, library worker and technology trainer of the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library, we’re hosting our first informal and interactive online technology chat for Texas public library staff! The pandemic underlined the importance of technology in all of our lives and library workers are essential in assisting community members with their technology needs. We know there are many great programs, ideas, challenges, and successes out there in the field, and we want to provide an opportunity for folks to share and learn from one another.
Join Misti Rudloff and Cindy Fisher, TSLAC Digital Inclusion Consultant, this Thursday, May 5 from 1-2pm for an informal and interactive online chat about how you’re providing technology training at your library. We’ll use a GoogleDoc to share ideas and information. While the session will not be recorded, we will make available the document afterwards so you can see what was discussed. We hope you’re able to join us live!
