  • David Bowles (They Call Her Fregona: A Border Kid’s Poems)
  • Xelena González (Where Wonder Grows)
  • Katie Gutierrez (More Than You’ll Ever Know: A Novel)
  • Darcie Little Badger (A Snake Falls to Earth)*
  • Amanda Eyre Ward (The Lifeguards: A Novel)
  • Jennifer Ziegler (Worser)

*Indicates the author’s talk will be livestreamed at the National Book Festival. All of these sessions will eventually be available to watch as replays in late September from the Library of Congress.

Do you want to be included in the LOC’s official watch party program? Be sure to submit your information via their form by Aug. 15!

Every year, the Library of Congress asks each state Center for the Book to select a title that represents the state’s literary landscape to highlight at the National Book Festival. Our Texas Center for the Book will announce the Texas Great Read soon. Be sure to follow the TCFB on Facebook to be in the know.
