Minnesota Digital Library (MDL) Metadata Librarian Greta Bahnemann will present an overview of digital content resources that she has developed for MDL, including the Primary Source Set program (modeled after DPLA’s Primary Source Sets) and the exhibit “History Day Resources” which provides teachers, students, and parents with information about the National History Day program. She will also highlight DPLA resources that are relevant to digital content research and share ideas on how educators and students can find, save, and share content for projects in the classroom.

Current models of bereavement will be presented to help you understand your own grief and develop a clear sense of how to support others within your community both personally and professionally. We will explore how to approach these conversations, avoid platitudes that can discount the grievers feelings and offer meaningful support through active listening.
