Libraries, universities, workforce development boards, adult education providers, economic development boards, chambers of commerce, and so many other community partners help build prosperous communities every day. The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) needs and values feedback from libraries and community partners to inform decisions on the creation and the direction of future TSLAC workforce development projects and partnerships. Please join us for TSLAC’s first Workforce Development Stakeholder Meeting on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Also, please take one (1) of our surveys below:
At the Workforce Development Stakeholder Meeting (register here), please let us know your ideas about how TSLAC can use the $650,000 of state funds specially appropriated by the legislature for library workforce development projects (i.e., library services to support adult learners, job seekers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners). Your presence means a lot to us, and if you are unable to attend, we would be grateful if you could share your ideas using one of the survey links above.
Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you at the Workforce Development Stakeholder Meeting!
For any questions, please contact Maria Freed, Workforce Development Consultant, at mfreed@tsl.texas.gov.
