The FY24 Texas Reads Competitive Grant Program will open for application on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Grant guidelines for the program, as well as specific information about the application process, past recipients, and additional resources are on the TSLAC Grants and Funding page. Applications will be due Friday, March 3, 2023.
Accredited Texas public and academic libraries are eligible to apply annually for TSLAC competitive grants for local programming if funding allows.
Applicants are encouraged to review the FY24 Texas Reads Notice of Funding Opportunity, and participate in a webinar, Applying for FY24 TSLAC Texas Reads Grant: What You Need to Know, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM This webinar will provide useful information about funding priorities and the application process.

Description: TSLAC’s Grant Team will discuss agency expectations and requirements for the 2024 Texas Reads grant proposals and discuss strategies on how to meet those expectations. The discussion will include a review of the funding priorities, as well as the types of information to be submitted in the proposals.
