Call for Proposals: Entrepreneurs & Libraries Conference

Who, What, When, Where

The Entrepreneurship & Libraries Conference (Entrelib) seeks your proposals for either a 15-minute presentation or a 7-minute lighting talk for its free, online (hosted on Zoom) Refresh & Refocus: Libraries’ New Trends in Supporting Entrepreneurs conference on November 1, 2023. Complete your proposal submission form before the August 14 deadline.

Why

Libraries are “engines of economic growth,” said Céline Gareau-Brennan, MBA MLIS, who is the Business Faculty Engagement Librarian and Co-Lead of the Library’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Team at the University of Alberta Library, as well as the co-chair of the Entrelib Fall Conference Committee. Looking at the interest of Texas entrepreneurs to submit new business applications below, use the Entrepreneurship & Libraries Conference as another platform to showcase your library’s fundamental role in the economic success, prosperity, and wellbeing of your community.

You can also view Texas county statistics on business applications submitted.
