The 2024 Texas Family Place Libraries™ Grant Program will open for application on Friday, September 1, 2023. Grant guidelines for the program, as well as specific information about the application process, past recipients, and additional resources are on the TSLAC Family Place Libraries™ Project page. Applications will be due Sunday, October 1, 2023.
Accredited Texas public and academic libraries are eligible to apply annually for TSLAC competitive grants for local programming if funding allows. Applicants are encouraged to review the FY 2024 Family Place Libraries™ Notice of Funding Opportunity, and participate in a webinar, Applying for FY 2024 TSLAC Family Place Libraries™ Grant: What You Need to Know, on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. This webinar will provide useful information about funding priorities and the application process.

Description: TSLAC’s Youth Services Consultant and a member of the Grant Team will discuss agency expectations and requirements for the 2024 Family Place Libraries™ Project grant applications and strategies on how to meet those expectations. The discussion will include a review of the funding priorities, as well as the types of information to be submitted in the proposals.
