Let Them Eat Facts! Leading Students to the Nonfiction Revolution (Booklist)
Common Core Standards place increased emphasis on informational texts. When the guidelines go into effect, students in fourth-grade will be expected to read the same amount of fiction as informational texts, and 8th graders will be expected to read 55 percent informational texts. In this webinar, World Book offers essential information on coupling nonfiction text with contextual information to engage and inform K – 12 students.
