EveryoneOn Campaign Toolkit Available to Libraries

2013 March 20
by Katherine Adelberg

The 3-year national public service campaign to promote digital literacy, EveryoneOn,  launches March 21, 2013 in select cities around the country.  An AdCouncil campaign toolkit is now available for public libraries wishing to participate as the project moves forward.

Additional resources will be added in the coming months, but the online toolkit already includes:

  • Background information about the campaign
  • Printable posters, and Web graphics
  • Tips on using the campaign materials and spreading the word about EveryoneOn, with a fact sheet, social media guide, key talking points, tools for engaging the community, and more

The EveryoneOn campaign represents a collaboration between libraries around the country, Connect2Compete (C2C), the American Library Association, the Public Library Association, the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), OCLC, the Ad Council, and many private corporations.  Visit our TSLAC EveryoneOn page to learn more about the project and how your public library can participate.

NEXT STEPS:

  1. Add your library information to the EveryoneOn training locator database so your users can search on everyoneon.org  for the computer training and Internet services your library provides.
  2. In the coming weeks, watch Connect2Compete for an invitation to view a webinar that will discuss EveryoneOn, the campaign toolkit materials, and how your library can use the tools.
