There’s Still Time To Enter Your “Best Small Library In America” Award Nomination

Library Journal and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation are once again co-sponsoring the 2016 Best Small Library in America award, now in its 12th year.  Each year, the award honors an outstanding public library serving a population of 25,000 or less, and there is still time to submit a nomination.  Nominations must be postmarked or emailed by September 9, 2015.

The winning library will receive a $20,000 cash award, a feature story in the February 1, 2016, Library Journal, membership and conference costs for two library representatives to attend the Public Library Association Biannual Conference in 2016, and a gala reception at the conference. Two finalist libraries will be awarded a $10,000 cash award as well as membership and conference costs for two library representatives to attend the PLA conference and the gala reception in 2016, and they will be given special mention in Library Journal.
