Sparks! Ignition Grants for Libraries are small grants, with no matching funds required, that encourage libraries to develop new tools, products, services, or organizational practices.  The types of projects funded have the potential for broad impact in the library world, and represent significant innovations or advances for libraries.

Funding ranges from $10,000 to $25,000. Projects must begin on October 1, November 1, or December 1, 2016.  Introductory webinars outlining grant requirements and the application procedure will be held on January 7 and January 13, 2016.  Visit IMLS’ Sparks! grant pages for all the grant details and for information about attending one of the introductory webinars.
