FY2017 Grants Funding Cycle is Now Open

The State Library has funding available in five areas. The grants are provided to public and academic libraries to:

  1. support innovative practices that enable libraries to develop programs for populations with special needs;
  2. promote cooperative services for learning and access to information;
  3. promote reading and literacy within local communities;
  4. provide seed money for new or innovative programs and services; and
  5. provide access to their special or unique holdings and to make information about these holdings available to library users across the state.
