2017 February 17
by Jennifer Peters

Join the state library agencies of Arizona, California, Idaho and Texas as they describe a recently-funded joint IMLS grant that will help you recruit, engage, and retain skilled volunteers. Learn about the benefits the grant can bring to your library and how easy it will be to join the Project!

Please register for this webinar to receive login information. (Please note the start time of the webinar will be 11:00AM CST. The webinar is hosted by the Arizona State Library which is in a different time zone. Also, you will need to create an account to register. This is a brief process. The webinar will be archived.)

We are optimistic that this initiative will result in tapping into the experience and passion of a talented pool of volunteers wanting to make a difference in your library and community.

Get Involved Collaborative: A Multi‐State Approach to Increasing Volunteer Engagement

The Get Involved Collaborative proposes to increase the use of skilled volunteers in public libraries using a scalable matrix collaboratively developed with an IMLS Planning Grant with the goal of replicating the California State Library’s successful Get Involved: Powered by Your Library initiative. The Project will run from Nov. 1, 2016‐Oct. 31, 2019.
