Literacy Texas Seeking Conference Proposals

2017 March 16
by Jennifer Peters

Is your library providing adult education and literacy training? Literacy Texas, the statewide coalition for literacy providers, is seeking proposals for sessions at its Annual Conference this summer. The conference is largely attended by community-based organizations that provide training in adult basic education, English for Speakers of Other Languages, high school equivalency (formerly known as GED), digital literacy, and more. This intimate conference offers a wide range of capacity building training ranging from program management to classroom best practices.

If you’d like to share the story of the work you’re doing, particularly if you’re in partnership with other literacy providers, consider submitting a session proposal.

The Literacy Texas Annual Conference will be held July 31-August 2, 2017, at the Embassy Suites, San Marcos, TX. If approved, all presenters must register for the conference.

Deadline to submit proposals is March 24.
