The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) is preparing to write the agency’s Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) five-year plan for 2018-2022. The plan will govern how TSLAC spends it federal funds during that time period.

Please complete our online survey by March 29th to provide feedback on key state needs for library services and state goals!

Here is a direct link to the survey: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/3423684/LSTA-5-Year-Plan-Survey.

The LSTA Grants to States Program is a federal program that provides funding to each state on a population-driven formula. Many popular programs are either partially or fully funded with LSTA dollars, such as:

  • the TexShare databases,
  • competitive grant programs,
  • statewide interlibrary loan, and
  • Continuing Education and Consulting.

If you would like more information about the current 5 year plan and evaluation, visit our LSTA webpage, or consider joining us for the webinar Evaluation Results for TSLAC’s 5 Year LSTA Plan on Friday, March 31st.

Thank you in advance for your feedback!
