It’s been a while since in-person training was available on the TexShare databases, so take advantage this Summer!
Learn to train library staff on the TexShare databases for general reference and homework help!
This day-long workshop held in 3 locations around the state is a train-the-trainer (TTT) style session where participants will be given a curriculum with reproducible materials to take back and use immediately. Training materials include lesson plans, trainee guides, and course evaluations to be used in the instructor-led training.
This training is aimed at any library staff member responsible for training other staff on the basics of the databases, whether formally or informally. Practicing librarian and consultant, Carol Maxwell, from SCCI, will teach participants how to train on the provided “curriculum in a box” for general reference and homework help using the TexShare databases.
