Martha Wong Scholarship<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

August 24, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Texas Library and Archives Foundation<\/a>\u00a0has announced a new scholarship opportunity for students in a Texas library\/information science of school library certification program. The Martha Wong Scholarship will award a reimbursable grant of $2,000 that may be used for tuition or required textbooks. Texas Touring Roster for 2024-2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) is pleased to announce that 139 Texas artists and arts companies have been approved to the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) Texas Touring Roster for 2024-2026. The Texas Touring Roster features some of the state’s best artistic talent and is designed to ensure that all Texans may enjoy events and performances by these artists in their local communities. TCA provides grants to schools, libraries, theaters, and other nonprofits and government units throughout Texas to help with the cost of bringing in companies and artists from the roster. The Performance Support application is updated and available now<\/a> for activities happening between September 1, 2024 and August 31, 2025.
