What Children Do
Children fill up D.W.’s plate with healthy food choices and glue the pictures of the food on the paper plate.
Sharing Cookies
Supplies
- Crayons
- Cookies made of construction paper
What Children Do
- Give each child a dozen cookies to color and decorate.
- Count the cookies together.
- Begin a lesson on dividing the cookies equally with 2 people, then 3 people, then 4 people.
- Talk about how many cookies they had when there were only 2 people, etc.

- Cheerios or rice
- Wax paper
- Tape
What Children Do
- Place a small amount of cheerios or rice into the cup
- Cover and seal the top with wax paper and tape
Get Active
Supplies

- CD’s with music to get children moving
What Children Do
Play “ La raspa” on Lirica Infantil con José-Luís Orozco, Animales y Moviemiento, Volumen 4 by José-Luís Orozco, and show the kids a simple hop and kick to go with the music.
Play “Get Ready to Wiggle” on Let’s Wiggle, by the Wiggles as the children wiggle their fingers, ears, eyes, hair, and more.
