Demo of Data Collection Website for Public Libraries

January 17, 2013 -- 10am to 11am Central Time

Public libraries complete the Public Libraries Annual Report each year, in order to be accredited by the State Library. For the second year, public libraries will be utilizing the Texas LibPAS data collection website. This webinar will introduce the audience to the data collection website and review various report sections, highlighting changes in the report for local fiscal year 2012. Participants will also get tips on edit checks and submitting their library’s report.

What's a Webinar?

Short for Web-based seminar, a webinar is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements -- the ability to give, receive and discuss information. Contrast with Webcast, in which the data transmission is one way and does not allow interaction between the presenter and the audience. Source: Webopedia.
