TexSelect RAND Texas Database Webinars

Public and academic library staff -- are you aware that TexShare member libraries, through the TexSelect program, have the ability to purchase access to the RAND Texas database at an extreme discount? And are you aware of just how comprehensive the RAND Texas database is?  RAND Texas, sponsored by RAND corporation, the nation’s largest think tank,  contains more than 110 databases, many of which are only available through this resource.  In-depth statistical sets detail economic, government finance, community (including crime & tax rate info), educational, health, energy and population information providing a complete statistical portfolio about Texas. Join us to learn more about this powerful database via a Webinar tailored for your library type.

Who should attend?

Although these Webinars are open to all library staff, they are most relevant to public and academic TexShare member libraries. We especially encourage those who work in acquisitions, collection development and reference within these libraries to attend.
