Year-Round Children's Reading Program at the Roanoke Public Library
September 20, 2012 -- 2pm to 3pm Central Time
Do you think children's reading programs can only be offered during the summer? Roanoke Public Library (Roanoke, Texas) doesn't think so! They revamped their children's reading club program a few years ago, making the transition to a year-round reading program that is intensified during the summer. This program has been met with great success and director Jesse Ephraim can't wait to share all the details. Join us for this very practical and informative Webinar and learn how Roanoke made this program go!
What's a Webinar?
Short for Web-based seminar, a webinar is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements -- the ability to give, receive and discuss information. Contrast with Webcast, in which the data transmission is one way and does not allow interaction between the presenter and the audience. Source: Webopedia.
This Webinar qualifies for 1 hour of Texas State Library Continuing Education credit or one (1) hour of SBEC Continuing Education credit for school librarians (SBEC provider identification #500799).
