The picture of him which

Gen. Young has of him

is very much like him[.]

[I]t was taken just after

he come [came] out of the

War of 12[.] Never seen with

this uniform on.

We have a small picture

of Uncle Ben but not

the one which that one

was taken from.

As your letter got misplaced

I have forgotten what a part

of your letter wanted to

know and also you [your] given

name will direct. Gen. Young
