think from my silence that

I take no interest in your

great picture. for I assure

you I am very much interested

in it but many circumstances

have prevented my writing you

and then I have not

succeeded in getting the

information about my father

you wanted. My Aunt in

Columbus is very old and

my cousins do not of course

feel the same interest. Just
