Peggy Oakley - Peggy Oakley is an invaluable member of the Archives and Information Services team. With more than 30 years of service with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, Peggy has become an expert in numerous critical administrative functions. Peggy's organization skills are admirable, and she is always finding ways to streamline her work processes and improve the department's and her own efficiency. In addition, Peggy cheerfully takes on activities that are outside of her normal scope of duties. She served on the safety committee for many years, participated in numerous charitible events, and most recently, assisted her colleagues with large information requests by photocopying and preparing thousands of pages for mailing. Peggy's hard work and helpful attitude have earned her the appreciation and respect of her peers.

Dina Abramson - Dina Abramson provides exceptional customer service to the patrons of the Talking Book Program. As the Disability Information and Referral Center coordinator, Dina consistently goes the extra mile to search out and provide the information that patrons are seeking. In addition to responding to reference questions, Dina produces pathfinders and handouts on the most commonly asked questions. More recently, Dina has represented the Talking Book Program at conferences and workshops. Dina is well-known for being reliable and ever-cheerful, and her joy for the work she does helps to inspire other staff members. Dina has earned the respect of her colleagues and patrons alike.
