The Council on Competitive Government (CCG) was abolished by the 85th Legislature, and effective September 1, 2017, its contracts have been replaced by Comptroller SPD or DIR statewide term contracts, or discontinued. The following two contracts were formerly CCG contracts.
Comptroller Statewide Purchasing Department (SPD) Contracts:
- Document Destruction Services – Vendor: WorkQuest (formerly TIBH) – Contract #962-M9 to 8/31/2020
Customers will issue an internal purchase order to WorkQuest that references Contract No. 050815-A-CCG-DD as authorized by SB 706 and current item description(s) and pricing as stated on this contract.
The Secure Document Destruction Contract gives state agencies and local governments the ability to acquire efficient and secure destruction of confidential documents (paper and non-paper like microforms). Some service providers also handle electronic waste (e-Waste) and non-traditional materials (items with agency or program logos and information that are neither documents nor electronic waste).
The Texas State Library and Archives Commission provides assistance with state records management laws, retention schedules, retention periods, and documenting records disposition. The service providers under this contract are AAA Certified by the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID) to ensure secure handling and destruction of your government records and documents. Work with WorkQuest to identify which service providers can meet your requirements.

Customers will issue a Statement of Work (SOW) to all five vendors for their potential digital imaging services.
Customers will issue an internal purchase order to the vendor selected from the SOW responses. The internal purchase order must reference Contract No. 920-C1 as authorized by SB 706 and current item description(s) and pricing as stated on this contract.
