After this date, your agency will be charged for the conference whether you attend or not.

The one-day conference is for state agency and local government officials who are creating or managing electronic records. This educational opportunity seeks to improve electronic records management in Texas government by bringing together staff responsible for and interested in records management and information technology. It is also a great chance to network with attendees who are working on some of the same electronic records management issues you face in your office.

This year’s lineup will include presentations, case studies, and panel discussions on:

    • enterprise content management
    • exchanged information
    • e-discovery – public information and forensics
    • emerging technologies – social media, cloud, and mobile
    • enhanced search: taxonomy and data

The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) and the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) have co-sponsored this annual event since 2000.

The conference will be Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the The Commons Center at the JJ Pickle Research Center. Visit our conference website for more information.
