This month, we welcome Marianna Symeonides, our new Government Information Analyst, to the Records Management Assistance unit.

Marianna recently completed her Master of Science in Information Studies from the UT Austin School of Information (iSchool).  There, she focused her studies primarily on archival enterprise and preservation studies. She then went on to work on a Certificate of Advanced Study in digital records access and management, taking additional coursework in electronic records management, digitization, database management, and digital asset management.

She will begin working with local governments in the Southeast/Gulf region (including Harris, Galveston, and Fort Bend Counties, among others) within the next couple of weeks.
