As part of our effort to maintain up-to-date local government records retention schedules, we are currently working to update Local Schedule GR. We will be presenting a draft to our Commission at their February meeting as the first step in our Local Schedule approval process, but before we begin the official update process we would like to solicit feedback from the local governments we serve. A current draft of updates to Local Schedule GR is available on our website and we would appreciate any feedback you are able to provide about the proposed changes.
The changes to Local Schedule GR are primarily based on questions and suggested revisions we’ve received from local governments since the last schedule update in 2012.

Will our Boards & Commission members who all are subject to the Open Meetings Act paperwork be addressed? Example: Term of service is two years, they are required to fill out an application, after Council reviews and appoints members they will then have Oath of Office, Confidential Statement, training information, etc. Will these items be addressed? Also how to handle the applicants paperwork not chosen for a position on a Board?
