e-Records Conference 2016: Call for Presentations Extended

CaptureAt the Intersection of
Technology and Records Management

e-Records Conference 2016
Austin, TX
Friday, November 4, 2016

We are still accepting presentation proposals from state government organizations (state agencies, universities or local governments), vendors and subject matter experts from various organizations to share both their challenges and successes with managing electronic records.

This event is organized by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) and co-sponsored by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). Visit the conference website for more details.

Presentation formats could include 1-2 presenters for 75-minute sessions.  Topic areas suggested include:

  • Data Management
  • Enterprise Content Management
  • Case studies: e-Records and e-Government–solutions, best practices, and lessons learned from projects with other experts, internal or external

We have already received great proposals that will be considered in the final selections.  However, we would like to see more state and local government case study proposals.

Also, we are still looking for state agency Information Resource Managers (technology) and Records Management Officers to pair up for a panel to share how they developed the intersections between the two groups and their roles and responsibilities.

If you are interested in presenting or being a panelist, please complete the online form, Presentation Proposal. Please forward this announcement to others who might be interested. The new deadline for submitting presentation proposals is FRIDAY, JULY 8, 2016.
