Texas Digital Archive Virtual Scavenger Hunt

2016-aris-archives-month-poster-proof-08-08Did you know that October is Texas Archives Month? The Texas State Library and Archives Commission has a full page of local events to celebrate the conservation of Texas history.

Of particular interest to state and local records managers, there will be a Digital Archive Virtual Scavenger Hunt this Monday, October 10, here at the Lorenzo de Zavala building in Austin.

Come learn about the the Texas Digital Archives! Attendees will have an opportunity to do hands-on, guided search of the Texas Digital Archives in celebration of Electronic Records Day.

Location: Texas State Library and Archives Commission (1201 Brazos St)

Two sessions offered: Session #1 – 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM OR Session #2 – 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM

Bring your laptop. Or, laptops can be provided for attendees. Spaces are limited.

Parking is available at the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage located at 13th & San Jacinto (behind the TSLAC building). First two hours are free. Check with the State Preservation Board website for fees charged after two hours.  Two handicap parking spaces are available in front of the TSLAC building.
