As of July 14, 2023, a new version of Bulletin C: Inventorying and Scheduling of Records is available on our website! The guidance contains helpful tips on how to conduct an inventory and how to appraise records.

Bulletin C also contains the following templates:

• Office or Cubicle Questionnaire Template 
• Information System Inventory Template

Other material packed into Bulletin C includes more specific material about electronic records, in-depth details about different types of inventories, and supplemental material from other states and agencies. We’re pleased to report that Bulletin C now more broadly applies to both state agencies and local governments. The updated Bulletin C and all templates can be found under the Local Government Laws and Rules section of our website.
