You are cordially invited to the annual Local Government Records Management Officer meeting.

Calling all records management officers and records professionals serving local governments across Texas! Texas State Library and Archives (TSLAC) wants to meet with you. Due to the size of this meeting and geography, this event will be held via Zoom.

When: Thursday, April 25, 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Where: Online via Zoom

We will send the Zoom link prior to the meeting.

Registration is limited to Texas local government entities. Due to Zoom capacity limits, we ask each local government to register no more than two (2) employees. This meeting is a great opportunity to share with records liaisons in your government.

While the event is no cost, advanced registration is required.

The meeting format will include updates from TSLAC (and possibly guests) and opportunities for Q&A and breakout sessions. Potential topics include:

• Open Data Portal (ODP) access to local government retention schedules and demo
• New training and resource materials from RMA
• Imaging services update
• Updates from other TSLAC divisions: Library Development and Networking and Talking Book Program

Due to Zoom capacity limits, we ask each local government to register no more than two (2) employees. If registration interest exceeds capacity, we may need to limit the number of attendees from each organization so the maximum number of Texas public sector entities may participate. In that event, we will contact organizations to ask they prioritize who attends.
