On Friday, November 21st, 2025, the annual e-Records Conference returned with the theme “Preserve the Past, Power the Future.” Co-sponsored by TSLAC and the Texas Department of Information Resources, this year’s theme highlighted the importance of electronic records for Texas government operations now and in years to come.

Smashing yet another attendance record, this year’s conference was the largest ever with a total of 382 attendees, up from 330 last year. New this year was a fourth breakout session per time slot, allowing even more learning opportunities for attendees. Sessions were led by state and local government employees as well as vendor partners. 33 vendor tables were available for attendees to peruse between sessions, showcasing products and solutions for enhancing government services and workflows. From the opening keynote which focused on human-centered design to the closing session about tapping into talent at UT Austin’s School of Information, the day’s sessions highlighted the integration of people and technology to power Texas government.
Attendees will get access to recordings of the sessions soon, so keep an eye on your email! Those who were not in attendance at the conference will be able to purchase access to the session recordings in the new year. Keep an eye on our conference page for details.
A huge thank you goes out to this year’s attendees, speakers, and vendor partners! We look forward to seeing you next November.
