Walgreens Talking Prescription Labels

With the American Council of the Blind as a partner, Walgreens has announced that it will now offer free talking prescription labels to all customers with visual impairments, nationwide. Anyone with a visual disability who has their prescriptions filled at a Walgreens pharmacy will receive this talking prescription device, which can read what is printed on the prescription label, and also provides an audible alarm, so the customer will know when to take the medication. Individuals who do not have their prescriptions filled at Walgreens can purchase the device for $9.99 at any Walgreens store.
