U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing Ibill Money Identifiers

Currency identifiers from the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) are now being mailed to Talking Book Program patrons. Since a large number of patrons have requested these, it will take some time for all of them to be shipped.

After January 2, 2015, TBP patrons will need to fill out an application with the Bureau in order to receive a free money reader. Patrons will not need to have an authority such as a doctor or nurse certify the application.

Patrons have three options to receive a BEP application:

1) Call the Talking Book Program at 800-252-9605 or send an e-mail to tbp.services@tsl.state.tx.us. Reference Center staff will mail you a BEP application.

2) Visit the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing web site at www.moneyfactory.gov/uscurrencyreaderform.html and print an application.

3) Call the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing at 1-844-815-9388 and request an application.
