TexShare Databases: Contract Information SFY 2023
Program Changes FY23
New contracts for the TexShare Databases Program were awarded at the August 19, 2022 meeting of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission as a result of solicitation 306-22-0222. Please note the following:
- The TexShare contract for Credo Reference Complete Core Collection from Infobase ended on December 31, 2022. It is available as a TexSelect resource.
- The TexShare contract for EBSCO resources except LearningExpress will end on August 31, 2023. Our solicitation allows TSLAC to consider any offered resource for our TexSelect program, and we are exploring options for that with EBSCO. In the meantime, contact EBSCO or one of our consortia partners directly for a quote. Updates to this information will be posted to the TexShare-Users mailing list.
- The OCLC contract for FirstSearch listed below is not a TexShare contract. It will be re-solicited in state fiscal year 2024.
- All other contracts are expected to be in force through May 31, 2027, assuming that the Texas State Library and Archives Commission chooses to renew, a decision based on vendor performance, resource usage, and available funds, as well as member input. The initial term for each contract is shown in the table below.
