ILLiad Training - Let Your Work flow...with ILLiad 8

Every form in the ILLiad 8 client is completely redesigned for efficiency. New interface elements such as ribbons, tabs, and customizable layouts allow faster processing and increased productivity. This 3 hour demonstration and lecture onsite session will help you get started using the best features in the latest of Interlibrary Loan automation tools.


(note: lunch is not included --but the room is available before class for those who would like to bring lunch and chat)

We will explore:

  • ILLiad 8 prerequisites
  • Client Home Page
  • Form layouts including navigation and customization
  • Searching across modules
  • Context sensitive ribbons
  • Request Ordering and Categories
  • Report and System groups
  • Batch processing for Borrowing (Check Out/Check In/Print Returns) and Lending Returns
  • Changes to printing and email functionality

Registration:

Registration for the ILLiad training is $110 and can be done through the Atlas site.

Location:

The training room for the ILLiad pre-workshop will be in the Perry-Castañeda Library in room PCL 1.124 (go down to the 1st Floor, follow directional signs). The Perry-Castañeda Library is located at the corners of 21st and Speedway, aka 101 E. 21st Street.

Our training room will open at 12pm so attendees can arrive early to meet up with colleagues before class begins at 1pm. You are also welcome to bring your lunch and eat it in the classroom.

Clio Training and Usersgroup Meeting

Judd Knight from Clio will be here to provide information on the latest version of Clio. He will also providing steps on maintenance and customization of the Clio product. You will also be given a chance to talk with Judd and your collegues using Clio regarding questions and issues. Please feel free to bring your laptop as the Austin Public Library has a wireless connection that you can connect to and follow along with Judd.
