Obtaining a TexShare Card: Apply in person at the Circulation Desk in the library. Photo ID is required.
Using a TexShare Card: Cards available all open hours. Privileges valid through end of current semester. Card renewals after beginning of the next semester.

Loan Policies: Three-week loan period. One renewal allowed if no holds on the item exist.
Restrictions and Limitations: Borrowing limit: 2 books for a 3-week loan period. One renewal if no holds on the book exist. Not available: reference, reserves, special collections, media, group study rooms, intercampus and interlibrary loan services.
Renewals: Renewals available in person only.

Recalls: We do not recall items.
Non-Circulating Items: Reference material, audio-visual material, reserves, periodicals, McNaughtons (some campuses). LOANS: Varies by campus; 3 – 4 weeks; one renewal.
Overdue Reminders: Overdue notices sent by mail or e-mail.
Fines and Fees: No fines. Replacement costs plus processing fee assessed for lost or damaged items.
Lost Items: Items considered lost after 3 overdue notices. Charge is list price of item (if available) plus $10.00 processing fee, or $30.00 plus $10.00 processing fee.
Billing Information: Bills due on receipt and payable at Bursar's office. Failure to pay suspends borrowing privileges.
