OCLC Usage Stats provides comprehensive ILL data to OCLC members who use resource sharing products including WorldShare ILL, Tipasa, VDX and ILLiad. The data available through this resource allows you to understand your ILL operation in terms of number of borrows and loans, fill rate, your turn around time, what you lend and what you don’t lend, who you lend to, who you borrow from, who you might not want to borrow from, and IFM reports. You can leverage as much or as little of this data as appropriate for your institution.
Join us Wednesday, 21 June at 1:00 PM EDT to learn from library and OCLC experts about how to incorporate this data into your regular reporting processes. Libraries of all types and sizes are welcome to attend and should find some tips or approaches for using this data for reporting purposes or to streamline workflows. Sue Kaler from the Minuteman Library Network will discuss how she utilizes OCLC Usage Stats to inform her decisions and practices in ILL. The Texas State Library and Archives Commission invites you to share your thoughts and suggestions for the future of library development in Texas. If you are a public, school, academic, or special librarian, consider how the agency and its staff impact your work.
The Sunset Review Process is a legislatively-mandated assessment of all agencies to determine if an agency should be continued, how its work can be strengthened, and how the agency can be positioned to fulfill its mission in the coming years.
Some of the questions that this process examines include
-What agency services and functions are important and should be continued?
-How can the agency’s work be improved?
We want to hear your feedback and make your voice part of the process to shape library services. This is a great opportunity to work with colleagues on exploring – and shaping – an exciting future.

Recently, Kathy Kie of OCLC presented an overview of WorldCat data sync collections for Texas libraries. This new service replaces batchloading for keeping library holdings up to date in WorldCat and the Texas Group Catalog.
