Interlibrary Loan News: Texas Navigator Service Unavailable September 19, 9 pm – 7 am Central Time

TONIGHT, Monday, September 19th at 9:00 PM Central, OCLC will shut down the Texas Navigator service to upgrade the system to the most recent version. This upgrade will take place overnight so as not to impact as many users of the service. Service will be fully restored tomorrow morning, September 20th, at 7:00 AM Central.

During this downtime, library staff and patrons will be unable to place ILL requests using WorldCat Navigator. Patrons will be able to search the Texas Group Catalog but will not be able to place requests. Staff will not be able to process or monitor ILL requests in NRE during this time.

To review what will change with the upgrade, you may visit http://www5.oclc.org/downloads/implementation/WorldCatNavigator/Texas/NRE_Version_5.2.pdf.
OCLC will send a message tomorrow morning to confirm the upgrade was successful. Should you experience any issues after the upgrade, please report them to NavigatorSupport@oclc.org. For TexShare related questions, please send email to the TexShare Coordinator at rwaukchn@tsl.texas.gov.

Thank you for your patience while we put this upgrade in place.
Best Regards,
Your WorldCat Navigator Team
