Free Federal Aid Resources for Students

We received this information from the Department of Education and have been asked to pass it along.

The U.S. Department of Education’s office of Federal Student Aid provides more than $150 billion in financial aid to college and career school students each year. We encourage you to make use of our free informational resources to benefit your patrons.

Attached are two documents that describe some of our products and services:
• The first document, “Federal Student Aid Web Resources,” provides a list of websites that are available to students to help them learn about and apply for financial aid. The document also includes shortcut URLs to popular topics and lists resources for those who assist students in learning about financial aid.
• The second document, “Help Students Find Money for College or Career School,” provides instructions for ordering free materials from our distribution center and highlights a few publications that may be relevant to your patrons.

We hope these documents will be of use to you.
