Taylor & Francis is offering SCELC libraries a special discounted offer for the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics Online, with discounts as high as 50% for schools with 1000 FTE or less. This is a limited time offer (through November 2013).
This offer is limited to new subscribers, and it is also limited to academic libraries only.
All orders must be submitted by Thursday, November 21, 2013.
The Handbook of Chemistry and Physics Online, part of CHEMnetBASE, corresponds roughly to the 94th edition of the print version. However, unlike the print version, it is continuously updated with new compounds, and it allows you to draw and search by chemical structure. The user can also create complex searches based on multiple chemical properties (specific values or a stated range), such as melting point, boiling point, chemical weight, etc.– see http://www.hbcpnetbase.com/). It is a core physical science resource, among the most widely-held and accessed in the world, used by everyone from students at community colleges to advanced researchers.
Discounts range from 25 – 50% off list price. Libraries have three simultaneous user options: two concurrent users; ten concurrent users; or unlimited concurrent users — with reductions in price according to your chosen user level.
Please contact Susan Sanders or Jason Price for pricing information.
Trials of the Handbook are available upon request. Please contact Susan Sanders at Taylor & Francis, as noted in Contact below.
The annual subscription term for the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics Online is Nov 1 to Oct 31. The first year’s subscription will be pro-rated to 11 months to reflect the Dec 1 start date.
Order forms are available upon request from Susan Sanders or Jason Price . If your institution is not a member or registered affiliate (see the member or affiliate lists), you may register here: http://scelc.org/application .
As noted above, all orders are due Thursday, November 21, 2013.
